Job summary

Real Time Consulting (RTC) seeks a Software Engineer for Avionics Data Network in Phoenix, AZ. You will contribute to the design, development and deployment of a Next-Generation data network backbone, including Time-Triggered Ethernet and other avionics protocols.

The role covers architectural work, software correction, integration and verification across the data network, with emphasis on robust, compliant software development and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Embedded C/Assembly development experience is required.
• Experience with DO-178C lifecycle, requirements development, tracing, integration and verification.
• Familiarity with software certification documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement robust software for avionics data networks.
• Write high- and low-level code; ensure robust, user-friendly software.
• Support full software development lifecycle from concept to verification.
• Create/modify/correct software requirements and trace to implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration with avionics systems.
