Job summary

ManTech seeks a motivated Software Engineer to join our team onsite in Norfolk, Virginia, supporting the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) program. The role requires hands-on software design, development, and integration with simulation-based training interfaces, in both classified and unclassified environments.

Minimum qualifications include 5+ years in software engineering, C/C++ and Java, SDLC knowledge, and an active Top Secret security clearance w SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, including embedded systems programming.
• Experience with DoD-style development environments and JSAF/JBUS familiarity.
• Knowledge of SDLC, software design, and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform software development, testing, debugging, and maintenance for Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE).
• Design and implement software integrating tactical systems with simulation-based training interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, governance, and security requirements.
• Identify engineering requirements to meet customer needs for complex software systems.
• Propose and evaluate contemporary technologies to improve customer solutions.
