Job summary

Bloomberg seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the BPS Monetization team in New York. You will build, modernize and operate platforms powering our marketing websites and digital experiences, connecting Bloomberg's products and brand with audiences worldwide.

You'll own end-to-end engineering—from CMS to APIs, cloud infra and tooling—collaborating with Product and Design. We value initiative, clear communication, and delivering high-quality software, with AI tooling to speed development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production web applications.
• Experience with CMS platforms and content-driven websites.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and modern web development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and operate modern web applications for Bloomberg's marketing ecosystem.
• Evolve the web publishing platform on Optimizely and CMS-driven sites.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Design and other engineering teams from requirements through production.
• Take end-to-end ownership of engineering work including deployment and ongoing support.
• Adopt AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development and improve quality.
