Title and Summary

Senior Software Engineer (Mobile) In Mastercard's Corporate Solutions team, we empower our customer’s businesses to succeed through innovative, trusted payment solutions that deliver a seamless digital-first experience around the world. As a Senior Software Engineer (Mobile) at Mastercard, you are expected to perform the following general duties:

  1. Architect, design, and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  3. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  4. Work on feature development, defect fixes, and improving application performance.
  5. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  6. Design and build libraries/frameworks/applications for the iOS platform.
  7. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  8. Support the entire application lifecycle from concept to design, testing, release, and support.
  9. Write clean and efficient code for iOS applications.
  10. Work with Agile methodologies.

All About You

  1. Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
  2. Proven working experience in secure software development.
  3. Working experience in iOS development.
  4. Possesses iOS app/SDK deployment complete understanding.
  5. Knowledge of iOS architecture.
  6. A deep familiarity with Objective-C/Swift, Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, and Cocoa Touch.
  7. Proficiency in security models, encryption standards, and algorithms.
  8. Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, UIKit, Core Foundation.
  9. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
  10. Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
  11. SOLID understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  12. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  13. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  14. Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
  15. Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
  16. Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
  17. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  18. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Git, Bitbucket.
  19. Experience with continuous integration.
  20. You are a problem solver with good analytical skills.
  21. You have a portfolio of released applications on the App Store.
  22. Soft spoken, team player, and should be good in communication skills and negotiations.
  23. Adept at design thinking tools like Figma.

Location Requirement: Hybrid position based in Mastercard's Atlanta, Georgia Location.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience, and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
