Thompson Software Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Mission Systems to support the design, development, integration, and testing of software enabling mission-critical avionics capabilities across complex architectures.

The role emphasizes real-time embedded C/C++ work, mission systems software, and collaboration within a multi-site team. Active Secret clearance is required; onsite work at Fort Worth, TX or Palmdale, CA is expected, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of C/C++ development experience.
• Experience in mission systems software architecture, including design, development, and integration.
• C / C++ development for real-time embedded systems.
• Integration and interoperability testing in lab and simulated environments.
• Ability to work onsite 100%.
• Ability to travel 10%.
