Thompson Software Solutions is seeking a Principal Software Engineer – Mission Systems to lead design, development, integration, and testing of avionics-grade software. You will own critical mission capabilities across data links, displays, sensors, and CNI components.

The role requires 8+ years in C/C++ and real-time embedded systems, with on-site work in Fort Worth or Palmdale and travel up to 10%. Strong collaboration and communication across multi-site teams are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM disciplines.
• 8+ years of C/C++ development experience.
• Experience in mission systems software architecture, including design, development, and integration.
• C / C++ development for real-time embedded systems.
• Onsite 100% work requirement.
• Travel up to 10% of time.
