Job summary

Staffed4U in Herndon, VA seeks an Expert Software Engineer to support mission-critical IC programs. You will design, develop, maintain, and enhance secure software applications with O&M support, working closely with government stakeholders.

The role requires a strong software engineering background, enterprise infrastructure experience, and the ability to solve complex technical challenges in a dynamic environment. TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph is required or active.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; equivalent experience.
• Experience developing software for enterprise environments serving government or IC customers.
• Experience coordinating Certification & Accreditation (C&A) activities.
• Experience documenting technical reports and customer briefings.
• Experience supporting SDLC and O&M processes.
• Experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
• Prior experience supporting multiple IC organizations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design software solutions.
• Develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement fixes.
• Develop software per technical specs and customer needs.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve defects and issues.
• Address customer requests and enhancement ideas.

• Maintain version control and project documentation.
• Manage project schedules and timelines.
• Coordinate certification activities with security offices.
• Research, test, and validate patches and updates.
• Train users on system functionality and maintenance.
