Belay Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our intel team in Maryland. You’ll work with analysts and operators to plan and architect solutions for CNE problems, building analytics and visualizations across the pipeline.

As a senior engineer, you’ll collaborate across projects, guiding frontend and backend design. Expect hands-on development from data transforms to web apps, and occasional server framework and sysadmin work on critical DoD systems.

Qualifications

• Strong Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and React or similar frontend framework.
• Proficient in Python for app development and data manipulation.
• Experience with dataframes (pandas, polars).
• Solid SQL skills and experience with SQLite, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Experience working with customers to gather requirements.
• Familiarity with Git and GitLab for source control.

Responsibilities

• Develop webapps to convey data and analytics.
• Facilitate customer interactions to gather feature requests and requirements.
• Understand mission objectives and data to guide questions.
• Maintain and architect applications and data transforms for analytics.
• Support mission-critical servers and act as a developer of server framework and sysadmin when needed.
