Job summary

Belay Technologies, located in Columbia, Maryland (Baltimore/Washington area), is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems such as analytics, real-time processing, and large data handling. You will work individually or in teams, review code, test thoroughly, and document results.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, 8+ years SWE experience, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Eight (8) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software process may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements; document test results.
• Resolve software problem reports and contribute to system design trade-offs and software reuse.
• Perform requirements analysis from system level to individual component level.
