Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer to serve as a technical SME for mission applications under the Chinook program. You will design, develop, and maintain web applications and backend services, ensuring scalable, secure software across front-end and back-end layers.

You will provide technical leadership, craft architecture plans, and drive best practices while collaborating with government and contractor stakeholders. Requires TS/SCI and strong cloud/DevSecOps experience.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required with ability to pass a polygraph.
• US citizenship required per contract.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field with 10–15 years of experience depending on degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical SME and advisor for mission applications under the Chinook program.
• Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain modern web applications and backend services.
• Develop scalable, secure software across front-end and back-end tiers.
• Translate mission and technical requirements into software architecture and implementation plans.
• Provide technical leadership in software design, architecture, coding standards, code reviews, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, data services, and system integrations.
