What You'll Do

• Own and deliver quarterly goals, leading engineers through ambiguity and supporting their development.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics teams to develop and refine products, considering risks and trade-offs.
• Identify and lead solutions for project, process, technology, or business issues.
• Monitor and support the operational health of your team's artifacts and processes.
• Promote a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement through standards, reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor team members by providing feedback, guidance, and leading by example.

What We Look For

• 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin.
• Experience with distributed systems, AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, performance, and maintainability.
• Proven ability to define technical plans and write high-quality, maintainable code.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to growth and collaboration.

Additional Details

Location: Remote within the US, with occasional office requirements for some roles.

Salary Range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT): $190,000 - $240,000; Other US states: $169,000 - $219,000.
