At the Merchant Engineering team, we develop products that are easy for developers to integrate, enabling merchants and partners to unlock value within the Affirm network. Our goal is to build a scalable, robust platform for online and in-store purchasing experiences.
The Merchant Risk Intelligence & Platform (MRIP) team builds functionalities to automate merchant risk assessment throughout their lifecycle with Affirm. We develop backend platforms and collaborate across teams to enable ML engineers to build models that automate decision making, ensuring smooth and thorough merchant experiences.
Pay Grade: L | Equity Grade: 6
Base salary ranges: $142,000 - $192,000 (other states), $160,000 - $210,000 (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT). Additional benefits include health coverage, stipends, vacation, stock purchase plans, and more.
Affirm is a remote-first company, allowing most roles to be performed remotely within the U.S. with occasional office requirements.
