Job summary

Laborie is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the full lifecycle of software for medical devices. You will design, develop, test, debug, and integrate software into Laborie devices while working under limited supervision.

The role requires leadership in project teams and a strong background in OO programming, design patterns, and ISO 62304 compliance, with a focus on scalable, compliant software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and 10+ years of experience.
• Proven track record designing and developing production-ready software.
• Practical programming experience in a modern OO language for medical devices (IEC 62304).
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and OO concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement system software from concept to product launch.
• Assist in gathering user requirements and project plans.
• Complete software design and development documents in compliance with Laborie QMS, ISO and relevant standards.
• Design modular software for a growing, multi-year program.
