Job summary
Laborie seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own the full lifecycle of designing, developing, modifying, testing, debugging, and supporting Laborie software, including integration with Laborie medical devices. You will work independently under limited supervision, may lead project teams, and apply engineering and scientific principles to complex problems.
The role requires design and implementation of system software from concept to product launch, documentation in line with Laborie QMS and ISO
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience designing and developing production‑ready software.
- Practical experience developing software (an OO language) for a medical device (IEC 62304).
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and OO concepts.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement system software from concept through product launch.
- Assist in gathering user requirements, software development plans, estimates and resources.
- Ensure documentation is compliant with Laborie QMS, ISO and relevant standards.
- Design modular software that supports a growing, multi‑year program and future extensions.
