Job summary

ADUSA is seeking a Software Engineer III, Master Data Management, to design, build, test, deploy, and support large software components and products. You’ll work with product leaders, architects, and engineers to translate requirements into secure, scalable solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

The role follows a flexible/hybrid schedule with 3 in-person days at core locations including Salisbury, NC, and 2 remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience in Master Data Management.
• Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages and strong knowledge of APIs, relational databases.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile delivery, DevOps practices, CI/CD, automated testing, and release management.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of significant software components or smaller products and projects from inception through production.
• Collaborate with product leaders, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to understand goals and translate needs into technical specifications and testable user stories.
• Build production-ready code, APIs, integrations, and automated tests that are secure, observable, scalable, and performant.
• Participate in solution design, reviews, and analysis of interfaces, migrations, risks, and dependencies.
• Use Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices to deliver changes and automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Monitor application health through logs and metrics and identify improvements.
• Troubleshoot production issues with root-cause analysis and sustainable fixes.
