Job summary

Fleetio is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Marketplace Engineering Team. You will write maintainable code to connect fleets with maintenance shops, payments, and data flows, driving scalable marketplace features.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Quality Engineering to deliver high-quality software, while influencing architecture decisions and delivering tests, performance improvements, and robust integrations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 3+ years with Ruby on Rails.
• 2+ years with ReactJS and TypeScript.
• Strong OO design and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience integrating with external systems and APIs.
• Excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement marketplace features.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Deliver well-tested, high-performance code.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and prototypes.
• Review peers' code to ensure quality and knowledge sharing.
