Job summary

Wellmark, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to help advance the Marketing Technology Platform. The role supports enterprise content management, digital asset management, and customer journey personalization within an AWS-based ecosystem.

You will partner with marketing stakeholders to shape the platform roadmap and drive innovation with modern engineering practices. The position can be filled at Software or Senior Software Engineer level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field and 1+ year of software development experience or 5+ years of related experience.
• Proven ability to gather information, perform root-cause analysis and propose solutions.
• Experience collaborating with UX teams to improve user experience and accessibility.
• Experience in agile team environments and full stack development.

Responsibilities

• Provide development and production support for key software applications and systems.
• Contribute to solution architecture and formalize technical specifications for development teams.
• Partner with UX to enhance user experience and accessibility criteria.
• Resolve technical problems across on-premise, cloud native, and hybrid apps.
• Communicate updates to leadership and stakeholders; collaborate to achieve goals.
• Other duties as assigned by the team.
