Job summary

LVT (LiveView Technologies) in American Fork, Utah, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II focused on Manufacturing Engineering Support to bridge core software with production systems and accelerate deployment. You will build tooling and interfaces that boost reliability and performance across the manufacturing pipeline.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and software teams, define testing environments, and mentor others while advancing hardware–software integration in a fast‑growing

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering with Python, C/C++, and Go.
• Experience building developer tools, internal infrastructure, or APIs for scale.
• Strong background interfacing software with hardware and manufacturing.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing for hardware‑dependent software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal tooling, infrastructure, and automation for the manufacturing software team.
• Build interfaces and middleware connecting core software frameworks with factory‑floor systems.
• Collaborate on testing environments, simulation tools, and hardware validation frameworks.
• Architect scalable data pipelines for telemetry and performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks between production software and engineering infrastructure.
• Mentor teammates on best practices bridging hardware constraints and software design.
