Job summary

LVT (LiveView Technologies) is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in American Fork, UT, to design, scale, and secure cloud infrastructure powering our Agentic AI platform and large IoT edge fleet. You’ll collaborate with software and hardware teams to automate and secure systems with robust GitOps workflows, improving reliability and velocity.

The role reports to the Senior Engineering Manager of DevOps and will initially be hybrid with a transition to full in-person.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps/platform/cloud infrastructure experience in high-availability production environments.
• Deep hands-on experience managing Kubernetes workloads, networking, RBAC, storage, and upgrades, with a preference for Amazon EKS.
• Advanced Terraform and Terragrunt skills; ability to own/refactor complex infrastructure modules.
• Experience with declarative CD and GitOps tooling, preferably ArgoCD.
• Strong AWS core services knowledge (VPC, IAM, EKS, ALB/NLB, S3, CloudWatch) and cost management.
• Proficiency with Linux systems, shell scripting, and deep OS-level debugging.

Responsibilities

• Own, architect, and optimize cloud infrastructure using IaC across multi-region production environments.
• Manage, upgrade, and optimize high-availability Kubernetes clusters, incl. networking and secure configurations.
• Drive GitOps adoption to build secure, predictable deployment pipelines.
• Design and maintain scalable cloud architectures, manage core services, networking, and IAM; lead cost optimization.
• Implement zero-trust access boundaries and modern secrets management across infrastructure layers.
• Support health, connectivity, and deployment workflows of global IoT/edge fleet tech; enable high-throughput messaging.
• Develop observability, monitoring, and alerting for real-time health and rapid incident resolution.
• Create thorough documentation, diagrams, and runbooks; promote asynchronous, collaborative workflows.
