GTN Technical Staffing seeks a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Kubernetes & Infrastructure Automation to design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and automation platforms for a scalable global environment.

The role emphasizes Python development, hands-on Kubernetes, and producing production-quality software that improves reliability, observability, and operational efficiency within platform engineering teams.

Qualifications

Strong Python development skills or experience with another modern backend language.
Hands-on Kubernetes experience including deployments, services, ingress, observability, and platform operations.
Experience with CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
Experience building automation for infrastructure, Kubernetes, platforms, or internal engineering tools.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jinja2.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and automation platforms for infrastructure and platform teams.
Develop production-quality code in Python or similar backend languages.
Create internal self-service tooling for infrastructure interaction via software.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for repeatable deployments.
Collaborate with platform, security, infrastructure, and network teams to improve reliability and observability.
