Job summary

NVIDIA's CFR team is seeking a hands-on senior engineer to own the lifecycle and automation of the Kubernetes platform supporting GNI network systems, across US and Bangalore teams. The role involves production ownership, GitOps delivery, and cross-functional collaboration with Network Automation and service teams.

You will design, implement, and operate scalable Kubernetes environments, drive on-call incident response, and raise production standards for reliability, observability, and capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/engineering.
• 8+ years building/operating production Kubernetes platforms or distributed systems.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes at scale (cluster lifecycle, upgrades, networking, storage).
• Proficiency in Go or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the Kubernetes platform powering GNI network automation and observability.
• Own lifecycle management for GNI Kubernetes environments (onboarding, upgrades, capacity, recovery).
• Develop production-quality software for cluster provisioning, validation, upgrades, and GitOps delivery.
• Provide production support for network services hosted on the platform with cross-team collaboration.
• Diagnose complex failures and drive resolution from signal to verification.
• Define production-readiness and observability standards for the platform and services.
• Participate in CFR on-call rotation and incident response.
