Job summary

GIGATEC Engineering is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and sustain a mission-focused enterprise web application in a containerized Linux environment. You’ll collaborate with product owners, system engineers, and software engineers to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot critical software that supports mission success.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Linux, Python, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, SQL, REST interfaces, and CI/CD practices, and is comfortable

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux CLI and scripting (Bash/Python).
• Experience with containerization: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building REST interfaces and SQL (MySQL).
• CI/CD experience, e.g., GitLab CI.
• Experience with Git source control.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain a mission-focused enterprise web application in a containerized Kubernetes Linux environment.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Software Engineers to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software.
