Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Experiences Team in the United States. You will help build foundational services and SDKs powering Speechify across platforms, focusing on end-to-end system design and reliable APIs to improve the user experience.

Ideal candidates will embrace systems thinking, speed, and collaboration with design, marketing, and PMs. Kotlin Multiplatform experience and GCP familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable APIs and services.
• Ability to ship features quickly with solid design.
• Strong collaboration with product/design/PMs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and deliver cross-platform SDKs.
• Design and implement efficient abstractions to speed up loading and parsing.
• Ship cloud functions and lightweight backend services using Kotlin.
