Job summary

Akina Inc. in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, seeks a Software Engineer 3 (Java, Spring, Docker) with TS/SCI - Poly clearance and telework option.

You will design, develop and maintain complex software systems, lead teams where appropriate, and ensure performance and security across the software stack. Collaborating with cross-functional groups and using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), you will implement features, perform testing, and optimize deployments with Docker and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or related field with 5+ years SWE experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 7+ years SWE experience.
• Nine years of SWE experience in similar scope and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, document and maintain software systems.
• Lead and coordinate software development teams as applicable.
• Analyze user requirements to derive design and performance needs.
• Develop applications using Java/J2EE and Spring framework.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and Git for version control.
