Job summary

Akina, Inc. in Annapolis Junction, Maryland is seeking an Agile Developer 3 to design and build Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS, with TS/SCI - Polygraph clearance.

You will collaborate in a fast-paced team to modernize a legacy operational system using microservices, CI/CD with Maven, GitLab, and GitOps, and leverage Python for AWS optimization.

Salary range $201k-$245k per year plus comprehensive benefits including 24 PTO days and 11 federal holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 9 years of relevant work or a Master's with 7 years.
• Experience developing Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS.
• Strong Agile collaboration and communication within teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS.
• Use Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3.
• Build REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD using Maven, GitLab and GitOps.
