Job summary

Interactive Brokers is seeking a Java-focused software engineer for a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days remote) in Greenwich, CT. You will join the Back Office team, supporting Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Tax and related functions to ensure accurate processing and regulatory reporting.

The role involves a multi-tier server-side stack, debugging and maintaining existing systems, and applying strong OO and DBMS knowledge (Oracle a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
• 5-10 years of Java experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and multi-tier applications.
• Strong understanding of DBMS concepts (Oracle platform a plus).
• Hands-on server-side programming in Java/C++.
• J2EE experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• All phases of a multi-tier software development cycle (GUIs, databases, mid-tier, batch applications) with an emphasis on the server-side.
• Debugging, fixing and maintaining existing systems.
