Freddie Mac is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to keep applications reliable during updates, migrations, and platform changes. You’ll work across Java/J2EE stack in UNIX environments, addressing security issues and backend improvements.

You will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure smooth operation and upgrade readiness while contributing to scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions for Freddie Mac’s core operations.

Qualificações

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in developing applications using Java/J2EE technologies, preferably in Unix environment.
• Excellent understanding of typical multi-tier architectures: web servers, application servers, load balancers, authentication/authorization mechanisms and databases.
