Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Software Engineer IV to join a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. Remote - US based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available. You will influence development practices and lead projects delivering business software across a complex environment.

The role mentors junior engineers, partners with cross-functional stakeholders, and drives design decisions to improve efficiency and execution quality. Strong leadership and 8–12 years of experience required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
8-12 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong leadership skills and mentoring ability
Advanced understanding of how technology decisions relate to business needs

Responsibilities

Influence development practices and team policies
Lead projects to ensure successful implementation of business software applications
Manage critical projects and advise junior engineers
Develop complex software applications from approved design specifications
Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency
Serve as the principal technical contact for technical projects
Mentor junior developers through code and design reviews
