Job summary

Core4ce seeks a Software Engineer IV to provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and implementing complex software for government programs at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. You will lead teams, mentor engineers, and interface directly with government stakeholders, applying strong fundamentals and innovative problem-solving to deliver mission-focused solutions.

This role requires TS/SCI clearance (preferred) or ability to obtain, with backend/full-stack focus and containerized

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering, backend or full-stack
• Active TS/SCI clearance preferred or ability to obtain
• Strong Python development, debugging, and tooling skills
• Experience with containerized development tools and distributed systems
• Proven leadership and guidance to engineering teams, plus strong technical writing

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications and services
• Develop and support microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems using Docker and Kubernetes
• Lead code reviews, testing, and documentation; mentor junior engineers
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to deliver mission-focused solutions
• Develop deployment docs, artifacts, and reports; support Agile processes
