Job summary

Core4ce seeks a Software Engineer IV to lead design, development, and deployment of mission-critical government software solutions. You will guide teams, mentor engineers, and collaborate with government stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable backend services.

You will work on microservices, REST APIs, and containerized systems, applying strong software fundamentals and innovative problem-solving in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency with Python and related tooling.
• Experience leading software development efforts and mentoring engineers.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications and backend services.
• Develop and support microservices, REST APIs, event-driven systems, and containerized apps with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Lead code reviews and automated testing to ensure quality and reliability.
• Provide direction and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
