Job summary

EnergyHub is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help migrate from a monolithic architecture to microservices and to deliver well-defined APIs integrating Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) into our platform. You will design and implement core platform features, mentor peers, and collaborate with product managers to drive high-impact initiatives.

You will work across front-end, back-end, and data modeling, employing React, TypeScript, and Java to balance multiple use cases while ensuring

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development with frontend, backend, and relational DB modeling.
• Proficiency in React and Java (11+).
• Experience with web services, gRPC/REST APIs, and contract-driven development.
• Ability to provide technical vision and guide scalable solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with React and TypeScript for dynamic UI development.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and testing tools.
