Qualifications

• 10+ years in software quality engineering.
• Proficient in Java and TypeScript.
• Experience with test automation frameworks: Selenium, Karate, Playwright, Cypress.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, globally dispersed Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to project design phases to ensure solutions are automatable.
• Identify suitable automation frameworks and develop automation tests.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, and Retrospective.
• Collaborate with engineering and business colleagues to define acceptance criteria for stories.
• Analyze and report test results, project tracking, and product release readiness to business partners.
• Ensure high quality of application delivery through test automation and execution.
• Reinforce quality direction and contribute to a high-performing team.
• Communicate effectively across globally dispersed team members and organizational layers.
• Apply Quality Engineering best practices and demonstrate an Agile mindset.

Our client seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Test to design and develop test automation frameworks and in-house utilities within the Workplace Investing Quality Engineering organization. The role supports CRM solutions that integrate into Salesforce, operating within Agile processes to enable high-quality delivery for business partners and end customers.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hr. w2

Experience Requirements:

• 10+ years in Software Quality Engineering roles.
• Proven programming skills in Java and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Karate, Playwright, and Cypress.
• Experience with continuous integration and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, globally dispersed, Agile environment.
• Strong technical acumen and an engineering mindset.
• Ability to adapt to new environments and learn in-house tools and practices.
• Passion for delivering business value for end customers.
• Understanding of Agile practices with ideas to improve releases.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
