Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is partnering with a leading investment management firm to modernize its technology platform. We’re seeking a hands-on engineer who can shape architecture, mentor others, and drive cloud-enabled solutions for risk analytics, portfolio management, and quantitative teams.

You’ll join a highly visible engineering group in Baltimore, working hybrid with two days onsite weekly, and collaborating across engineering, product, and business teams. No visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• This role requires 5+ years of software engineering experience with C#/.NET.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-based solutions (AWS).
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, API design, backend architecture, and data-intensive apps.
• Experience contributing to system design and architecture discussions.
• Commitment to engineering best practices including automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and observability.
• Excellent communication skills across teams.

We’re partnering with a leading investment management firm that’s investing heavily in the modernization of its technology platform. This team is transforming legacy systems and building the next of cloud-enabled applications that support Risk Analysts, Portfolio Managers, and Quantitative teams.
