Private Company LLP in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to elevate our technology platform. You will contribute to design discussions, mentor junior engineers, and help shape cloud-native solutions across Risk, Portfolio, and Quant teams.

A strong communicator with passion for modern software and AI-adjacent tech is essential. You will partner with engineering and product teams to drive architecture, ensure quality, and deliver scalable systems beyond legacy maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with C#/.NET.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-native solutions (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of distributed systems, API design, backend architecture, data-intensive applications, and SQL.
• Experience contributing to system design and architecture discussions.
• Commitment to best practices: automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, observability.
• Strong communication with product, engineering, and business teams.
