Job summary

IAED in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking a senior software developer to lead the design and development of training platforms, applications, portals, databases, reports, and queries. You will own projects end to end, refine requirements, set technical direction toward reusable, maintainable systems, and review code before it ships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant software development experience, including ownership of end-to-end projects.
• Ability to mentor Software Dev I/II and lead by example.
• Hands-on full-stack capabilities with TS/JS, Vue/Nuxt, HTML/CSS, REST APIs, and databases.
• Proven experience delivering production software with strong security practices.
• Experience directing AI development tools and reviewing AI-generated code for quality.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop efficient software components for complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Define technical direction toward reusable, maintainable systems and review code changes.
• Architect application structure, data models, and integration points for growth.
• Own code integrity on assigned projects and serve as primary contact if issues arise.
• Mentor team members, manage progress, and communicate with clients and internal users.
• Develop prototypes and proofs of concept for end users and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
