Job summary

IAED in Salt Lake City is seeking a senior software developer to lead the design and development of training platforms and client portals. You will own projects end to end, refine requirements, and set technical direction while mentoring teammates.

You’ll work with TypeScript/JavaScript, Vue/Nuxt, HTML/CSS, REST APIs, and databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL). Expect code reviews, architecture input, and collaboration with clients to deploy robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Vue/Nuxt, HTML/CSS.
• Experience with REST services, databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL) and Git.
• Ability to review AI-generated code and ensure quality and security.
• Mentor/junior staff and lead defined projects through launch.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software components for training platforms and apps.
• Own projects end to end, refine requirements and set technical direction.
• Guide architecture, data models, and integrations as systems grow.
• Review code, manage progress, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Collaborate with clients, users, and internal teams to deploy solutions.
• Lead prototypes and proofs of concept for end users.
