JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join an agile team in the Asset Management domain. You will design and deliver trusted, scalable technology products, write secure production code, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards.

You will contribute to architecture, data analytics, and system improvements across global regions, with emphasis on secure coding practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
• Knowledge of SDLC and software architecture best practices.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with non-routine problem solving.
• Produces secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
• Utilizes AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and testing.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools to improve automation and value.
• Develops architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and validates design constraints.
• Gathers and analyzes data, builds visualizations to improve software and systems.
