Job summary

Globe Life in McKinney, Texas is seeking a Sr. Software Developer III for a hybrid role. You will design, build, and ship full-stack web applications, lead front-end architecture with Vue 3 and TypeScript, and implement secure APIs using ASP.NET Core. You’ll optimize performance, ensure accessibility, and mentor teammates.

You will collaborate across UI/UX, backend services, and DevOps, supporting production systems and cloud environments in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including 7+ years front-end (Vue 3 or Angular) and 5+ years of full-stack development.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments and iterative delivery.
• Proven front-end architecture leadership experience on production apps.
• Experience implementing security practices (JWT, OAuth2/OIDC) and accessibility standards.
• Testing expertise with Vitest/Jest, Playwright/Cypress, and UI testing.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack web applications from requirements through production release.
• Own front-end architecture decisions, using Vue 3 patterns and TypeScript.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core Web API and data access with EF Core/Dapper.
• Ensure accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers.
