Job summary

Rise8 is hiring a Software Engineer III (Cleared) in Colorado Springs, CO (hybrid), Aurora, CO (hybrid) or Los Angeles, CA (hybrid). You will work with federal clients to design and deliver secure software using agile, TDD, and pairing with client teams.

A TS/SCI clearance, DoD experience, and a passion for secure, fast delivery are essential. You’ll collaborate across product, design, and engineering to drive continuous delivery for critical missions and learn to apply AI-augmented approaches

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 3–6 years of software development experience.
• Experience with PHP, Kotlin, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Spring Boot and modern frontend frameworks.
• Proficiency with container technologies Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and processes.
• Experience developing API services.
• Comfort operating in Linux environments.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent.

• Deliver software with TDD and continuous-release deployment.
• Pair with client teams to share knowledge and drive value.
• Develop and test software that delivers business value.
• Guide teams in adopting unified language and approach.
