Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join an agile team within Asset & Wealth Management. You will design and deliver scalable, secure software across multiple domains, produce architecture artifacts, and drive improvements through data insights.

You will work with enterprise AI-assisted tools, ensure secure coding practices, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle in a large corporate environment. This role emphasizes reliability and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 3+ years experience.
• Experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience coding in a large corporate environment with modern languages and SQL.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use and secure data handling.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methods including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
• Uses AI coding tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity; participates in peer review.
• Applies SDLC tools to improve automation and value.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
• Develops visualizations and reports from large data sets for continuous improvement.
• Identifies patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
