Job summary

CyberTrend is seeking a Software Engineer II with TS/SCI clearance to design, develop, test, and maintain complex software systems in a defense context. The role emphasizes team leadership, system-level thinking, and collaboration with hardware and system engineers.

The candidate should have extensive SWE experience, a CS-related degree, and strong AWS development skills to support analytics and real-time processing needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.
• 14 years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope is required.
• Experience developing in AWS with managed services is preferred.
• Ability to lead a software development team and coordinate work.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive design and performance specs.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software for features.
• Debug and fix defects in existing software.
• Integrate software into new systems and environments.
• Develop queries for databases and data repositories.
• Lead one or more software teams and ensure timely delivery.
