Ladders is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II - Storage to join a leader in the Technical Services space. This role focuses on designing and scaling core storage and querying systems for a high-volume, production environment, partnering with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions.

You will own technical design, contribute to operational excellence through on-call duties, and mentor teammates while maintaining a hands-on focus to improve platform performance.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in storage and querying systems.
• Proficiency in Go programming language.
• Experience with high-throughput or complex systems.
• Familiarity with database engineering and Kubernetes is a plus.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer II - Storage to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will focus on designing and scaling core storage and querying systems that support a high-volume, production environment. You will partner closely with product and engineering teams to turn technical design into reliable delivery, while also contributing to operational excellence through production support and on-call responsibilities. The position calls for strong systems thinking, technical leadership, and a hands-on approach to improving platform performance and team capability.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $250,000 - $280,000 annually
