PriceSenz LLC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer specialized in database systems to design, implement, and optimize scalable data flows powering mission-critical platforms. You will write efficient, application-level database code for data integrity, low latency, and reliability across distributed systems.

The role focuses on modernizing legacy scheduling systems, supporting production deployments, and collaborating with engineering teams to meet data requirements in a fully remote U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong emphasis on backend systems and database engineering.
• Expert-level Python experience building high-performance backend services, asynchronous applications, and distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of database systems, including architecture, internals, tradeoffs, and performance optimization.
• Strong experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, including advanced tuning, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
• Production experience managing and optimizing large-scale NoSQL database clusters.
• Practical experience with AlloyDB.
• Strong understanding of concurrency control, indexing strategies, data modeling, and latency-critical distributed data processing.
• Experience with Docker or other containerized environments.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture.
• Experience with C++, Go, or Rust is a strong plus.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with deep specialization in database engineering to join our team. This role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing highly scalable data flows that power mission-critical software platforms.

You will be responsible for writing highly efficient application-level database code that ensures data integrity, low latency, and high reliability across distributed systems. This role will play a key part in modernizing legacy scheduling systems while supporting production environments during critical deployment phases.
