Job summary

Carta’s KYC team is building the compliance infrastructure powering private markets. As a Senior Software Engineer II, you’ll lead complex projects and help re-architect a unified KYC platform, joining a small, senior team delivering production-grade software.

You’ll work with Python, Django, React, Postgres, and Kafka, plus Java, gRPC, and AWS, and mentor peers while collaborating with product and design to ship high-impact features.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with large-scale, production-grade systems.
• Familiarity with private capital or financial services is a plus.

• Drive implementation of complex technical projects, from concept to production, maintaining high performance and reliability.
• Simplify systems by identifying opportunities to reduce complexity and increase business impact.
