Blink Health in New York City is hiring a senior engineering leader (L6) who will set technical direction while staying hands-on. You will own architecture decisions across multiple teams and shape key product initiatives with the founders and executives.

You will mentor senior engineers, drive design reviews, and deliver major features from concept to launch, balancing speed with quality and business impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years writing software with growing scope and impact.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools.
• Led a system or product area across multiple teams.
• Experience collaborating with founders or executives.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve backend and frontend architecture behind our systems.
• Take ambiguous, high‑risk problems off the table and get them to a clear answer.
• Run design and code reviews.
• Own major features from first design through testing, documentation, monitoring, and launch.
• Work directly with founders and executives to shape strategy and then build against it.
• Coach engineers and help shape how the team works.
• Bring in new tools and techniques, prototype fast, and let data settle debates.
• Explain technical trade‑offs clearly to anyone in the room, engineer or not.
