About the Role...
We are hiring for Android Engineers at various levels, and below you can find more information about the teams we're hiring for:
Subscriber Conversion Team:
The Subscriber Conversion team owns the surfaces that turn learners into subscribers and keep them subscribed including in-app hooks and paywalls, the purchase flow, pricing and packaging, payments, and subscription partnerships. The team is highly experimental, running a steady stream of A/B tests across iOS, Android, backend, and web, and balances quick optimizations on high-traffic surfaces with larger bets like new tiers and partner offerings.
In-App Purchases Team:
The IAPs team owns Duolingo’s in-app purchase business: the gem economy, the shop, and avatar cosmetics and collectibles. You’ll build purchase flows and the systems behind them, then prove out what works through experimentation. Avatar cosmetics and collectibles are our new initiatives to drive DAU aligned monetization.
