Job summary

Alegeus in Boston is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to help modernize the WealthCare Administration platform by designing and building scalable, cloud-native microservices using C#, .NET, and Azure. This hybrid role requires you to be onsite part-time in Boston.

You will own the full development lifecycle, craft architectures, code and deploy distributed applications, and collaborate across cross-functional teams in an agile environment to drive product evolution and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience developing modern, distributed web applications using C# (.NET Core 3.1/.NET 5+), ASP.NET, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), API design, and event-driven frameworks such as Kafka, EventHub, or ServiceBus.
• Deep understanding of data storage (RDBMS and NoSQL) and designing production-ready solutions in agile environments.
• Proven ability to design and deliver complex, production-ready solutions while communicating technical concepts across teams.

Location & Work Arrangement

This job is hybrid and requires the employee to be in the office in Boston, Maitland, or Milwaukee 25% of the time.

Compensation

Position Compensation Range: $104,300.00 - $177,800.00 (based on job-related skills, experience, and education; may vary by location and market conditions). Additional total compensation may include bonuses, incentive plans, and a comprehensive benefits package.
