Spring Health in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to build full-stack experiences that help members access Specialty Care. You will work on AI-enabled features, mentor peers, and own code quality and security. The role requires 5+ years in software development and 3+ years with Rails, GraphQL, React, and TypeScript.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, and data teams in a hybrid setup, with in-office days 2–3 per week. Relocation within 90 days is expected if needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong full-stack capabilities and testing discipline.
• Experience leading technical designs and projects.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and optimize production-ready code daily.
• Lead technical design reviews and author designs.
• Use AI tools to support design, delivery, and reviews while ensuring quality and security.
• Mentor engineers and guide junior teammates through reviews and pairing.
• Own operational excellence: logging, alerts, and incident analysis.
• Collaborate with product/design/data to run experiments and iterate.
