Nelnet, Inc., through its FACTS Financial Aid Management division, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our application development team. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate customer needs into new products and features.

You will mentor junior engineers, uphold best practices, and contribute across a global team while working in a .NET/Angular stack; AI experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in software development.
• Proficiency in .NET stack with Angular experience preferred.
• Experience mentoring teammates and enforcing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Researches, designs, implements and manages software applications.
• Partners with Product and Engineering to define requirements.
• Write, test, and implement efficient code.
• Review and provide feedback on pull requests.
• Use AI coding tools as part of daily workflow.
• Coach and mentor other team members.
