Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking an experienced IT professional for analysis, design, programming, and implementation of complex applications. The role supports a hybrid work schedule with on-site days and potential travel between buildings in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities include delivering project deliverables, collaborating with business teams, testing and documentation, and guiding junior staff.

Qualifications

6+ years of application development, testing or related experience.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
Experience with analysis, design, programming and implementation of complex applications.

Responsibilities

Produce deliverables for assigned projects and perform analysis, design, programming, and implementation of systems to solve business problems.
Collaborate with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand requirements and ensure alignment with IT strategies.
Test modified programs, create test data, verify logic, debug, and document results.
Design and develop IT systems and deploy complex application software within time and budget.
Provide guidance to junior staff and act as an internal consultant on complex projects.
